I’ve always dreamed of going to Paris…I’ve always wanted to see the beautiful art and monuments, and try French food. My stepmother Kalle used to live in France and she has told me stories. In her stories, Paris sounds like a magical place. When I picture myself in Paris, it is night and the streetlights are up, and I’m standing in front of the Eiffel tower, looking at all the amazing sights.

I have been accepted into the Student Ambassador program with an organization called People to People. I will be traveling for two weeks this summer, to Paris and London with a delegation of kids my age, led by experienced teachers. Some important landmarks that we are going to visit in France are the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. We will be learning about history, artwork, and French culture. In England we will visit Parliament and Big Ben. Along the way, we will be meeting kids our age who live in England and France, trying new foods, and seeing lots of new places.

I am paying my way and raising money for the trip. I’ve already started by baking and selling holiday pies with my Mom for Christmas. Would you be willing to help sponsor my trip? $50 would be a really big help, but absolutely any amount would be hugely appreciated!
