Dear friends,

I had my last meeting two weeks ago and we had our pinning ceremony.It's hard to believe that this all started with one little letter saying (and I quote) "Would you like to travel the world as a student ambassador!?”

Now a year later, I'm packing for Europe.

We went through a security and customs simulation.  We had fake passports and tickets and we had to remember all that information!  This is very helpful because now i know what to say and do incase something goes wrong. Here we are in our security line getting our fake passports checked:

Since our last meeting we where assigned to research a topic and make a poster board. mine was about Normandy.

I learned all about D-day and the different foods there. D-day is when the allied troops from america came to invade the area and take it back from the Germans who where occupying it. Thousands of people died. 

I served everyone Camembert cheese; it is very smelly and bitter. 

I am very exited! My family and I have been working very hard and so have you guys! I'm almost to my goal! If you would like to donate to the website or by mail, please do it soon! We are almost there!
